Spare Tire For 1997-2017 Corvette - www.modernspare.com
I got rid of my run flats and have been looking for a spare tire for my C6. I called my dealer and GM doesn't produce one so after a bit of research on the interwebs I came across this product. Does anyone have an experience/review with this company or product? It seems reasonable enough and comes with appears to come with everything needed to change a flat. What are your thoughts? TIA

I just spotted this post
It's a bit late but maybe it will f help someone else
I have 2 C5's
1 for the street and 1 for the track that is street legal
I also have a 2011 Cadillac CTS and the donut spare from the CTS is a perfect fit on the Vette's
For my track car I need a 5/16" wheel spacer for the donut to fit over my larger front track calipers.
Rear brakes are stock and donut fits without spacer
I found very low profile scissors jacks on line. With tires deflated the jack still fits under my stock Vette OK, but lowered track Vette needs 2" block of wood for jack to fit under with deflated tire.
I tested it and was easily able to drive onto the wood block.
I have 3/4" drive sockets welded onto both jacks so I could use my breaker bars to jack them up rather then the 1/2 *** BS handles that come with these scissors jacks.
I got to use the scissors jack set up helping a stranded motorist change a flat.
I had these sockets welded onto all my cars that have scissor jacks.
Luckily have not had to use the donut spare yet.
Hope this helps someone
