Lol, it wasn't a ramble and atleast your making thebest of the situation.
Makin' lemonade from lemons, or somethin' like that!!

Great veiws across the water Bro.
Thanks, bro!!! Yeh, we can see the States from the shores here... I'm always wavin'... you ever see me wave at youse guys?? Look North... and West... for a jumping lunatic.

ORIGINAL: C3 Starship

Parasailors, and I thought I saw a late '60's Charger.
Good eye!!! Indeed, my friend, parasailors and one nasty 1969 Dodge Charger. I saw the car coming up on me while I was driving, so I scrambled for the camera... only got 2 seconds of it as I passed.

That car is actually a bit of a legend in town here. That dude has owned it for as long as I have lived here, and it's in real sweet shape. One bad motor car.

ORIGINAL: C3 Starship

I expected a somewhat mountainous or hillyterrain.
Next time I'll take youse guys outta town with me. We've got it all. Mountains, hills, sea shore, you name it. Most of that video was taken around town,or the surrounding area.

You can clearly see the Olympic Mtn. range for almost any spotin the city here... those snow covered mountains stick above the horizon line like something so majestic you just can't describe it. I'll try and get some shot of all that as the weather improves here.

Thanks for sharin'! [sm=icon_rock.gif]
That's what bro's are for!

ORIGINAL: C3 Starship

Tourists? [:'(]I get my fill of them every day, 497 days a year.
You have a ton of tourists in your neck, too, Dave??

ORIGINAL: blueshark

Hey Spielberg, That was great thanks for shareing.
Bwaaaaaaaaaaahahahaha!!! I've been called a lot of things before bro, but that one is new!!

ORIGINAL: blueshark

I saw that old Charger too. cool ...gotta lotta old hotrods and muscle up there?
Unreal amounts... by and large (up till this years Global Cooling Incident) our weather is just awesome up here, so it's a bit of a cornucopia for muscle car lovers up here.

Corvette's are finally starting to show up again. My wife looks for the daffodils, I look for Vette's, as a sign of spring-time.

ORIGINAL: blueshark

oh yeah ...two words...'65 Galaxy...okay two numbers and one word but you get the picture. Cheers
I have not forgotten, my good friend!! We're just tryin' to do some figurin' up here, to see how best to handle this. I really really need to get the fuel pump on our Corvette fixed before I do anything else crazy money-wise... just haven't had the opportunity yet. God, I hope I do before it requires a ride with a hook to the ol' mechanics shop....

No offence Bro, but I used to run a service station on the Ca., Nv. border.
A guy came in here once and tried to sell me his shoes, so he could get enough gas to make it back home. I've seen lives destroyed by "The Habit". [&o]

( that reminds me, I got another one for "True Stories Of...". I'll post it in the morn'.)

None taken my friend....I don't get to go much but I love goin' to Tunica MS. and playin' the quarter slots. I take about a hundred bucks with me and just remember I have to eat and get home. Really the best part is watchin' the little old silver top ladies tryin' to cover 3 or 4 bandits at once....you can get wacked quick by them ifin you get to close. Been about four years since my last visit so I'm not quite an addict yet.....but...who knows?? Cheers

Sorry T. S., I didn't mean to change the subject.

Back on track......
I've seen pics of B. C., and would love to go there someday. I just love the mountains and greenery. Rivers and streams too. Every time I see pics, I'm lookin' for fishin' holes. (and Gold prospectin' spots )

The parasailors, how do they launch? From boats or.....?
We get several P-sailorslaunchin' fromthe mountain behind my place.

No apology required at ALL, my good friend! I love a good discussion.

My evil step-mom is a gambling addict, and in all manners of the term, has ruined my father. I cannot stand this woman, but that's a whole 'nother story.

She has a brutal disease. It's way bigger than her. Once, she won $30k in the casino here; worst thing that could have happened. She then proceeded to lose $40k, trying to hit the next big one.

I have seen this disease ruin families. In a lot of ways, it really reminds me of hard-core drug addicts....

There's a good bluff there, by the ocean. They leap off the bluff. Like a pile of raving lunatics. They just jump from a perfectly good cliff, bro.

There just ain't enough money in the world to get me to leap off a cliff.....

Well, in keeping with tradition, I couldn't help myself but shoot some more video on the way in the other morning. I present you with a cruise to work in the rain! See if you can spot where the Corvette starts to walk a little sideways....

Morning Cruise To Work
