Mines an auto and I manually shift it and when im slowing down I downshift manually to make the exaust sound louder lol plus its more funI wonder if thats bad for the trannyy....
Yeah it dose, because the auto works off presure, and its not to good on the clutchs or valve body

Damn it.....I blew through my original tranny got a second one out of a chevy astro van went thru it and just had my original one built. Bad on the clutches? Stock min ehad six......He gave me nine ehh I got a little to spare..Ill keep shifting.[&:]

Why dont you just Stall it, and have someone build it and put a shift kit in it?

Whats that mean?????? I have a new torque converter, band, seals, fluid, gasket, filter,......umm something else too but I forgot.....Shift kit on a automatic?????

He means modify the stall converter for a higher RPM rev on the torque converter, and put in a kit to make the shifts faster and firmer, all toward a lower E.T.

Can I put in JUST A SHIFT KIT with my transmission right now....or does it have to be messed with some more and how much........Oh yea.....I just got me a new two tone shiftboot from redline and I cant figure out how to get my shift **** off. Its an auto and I think the ring inside is suppose 2 come off....I tried prieing it out turning it pulling on it......Sprayed W-D40 in there........Nope.....I want my shiftboot on helpp.....please....
