Morning Again!

My husband was looking through the Ecklers catalog and he saw a programer. Of course he wants it! But, I need to know what it actually does before I let him spend the cash. Does any one know? Is there anyone using one?

My husband's got one of the programable superchips on his F350. It does increase the hp and the gas mileage. Is this programer for the C4 do the same thing?

Thanks for you help.

Michelle

Do you have a link or more info such as Brand and so on? Some of those programmers can change all kinds of setting like fuel/air ratio, shift points, recalibrate for different size tires and gears and so on. And then their are some that are crap.

The one in the catalog are HyperTech Power Programmer iii and HyperTech Power Tuning Module.

Hypertech's are fairly good programmers. Maybe go to Hypertech's site and see what they can do and if you will benifit from it.

we have a vendor on this site, speed engineering, who sells computer items...here is a link to their site. they are a good company, and are quick to reply to emails, so have a look at their site, which does have programmers, and you could ask them exactly what the different models do, and how much they help...
tell them you found their company on CorvetteForums.com...:)

You can ask questons right on Hypertechs site as well. I emailed with questions and they answered right away.
