Just picked up an astro top for my vette for just $150 and it is like new condition with dark tint. I didn't realize they were so involved in putting on and off but has to be better than my fiberglass tops with cracked and worn headliner. Anyone on here that has found a trick to make it quick to put on and off??? If not I'll be fine but thought someone may have come up with an idea or two.
THanks

Pardon me, but what year is your Vette?
Hang onto the old top, they're like gold to somebody that's lookin' for 'em. I keep all my original parts. ;)

I have an 80. I'll probably keep the t-tops but won't use them. I usually keep stock parts in case I sell. Then I can put the old stuff on and sell the good stuff.

No quick and easy trick that I can find for the AstroTops, but definitely make sure that you use the metal rear adjuster slide, and not the little plastic one that ships attached to the top. :D Those cheezy plastic ones break at the most inopportune times!

Uh-oh... Stupid question time...

What's an astro top?

(if it's a name brand, spare me)

Edit:
never mind. I knew I'd seen it somewhere...
