I have no knowledge of this.. just googled it after reading this thread and saw this site and found it to be interesting.

Please do not take my posting of the addy as my endorsement of the product. I just saw this for the first time.

http://www.tirecradle.com/

even uses Vettes in the photos.

Now, out of pure coincidence I was quoting a gentlemans insurance about 20 minutes ago and he was a tire dealer. I asked him if the newest gen tires still 'flat spot' as it was something I'd delt with in earlier hot rodding years. He advised me that while tires can still flat spot and high perf tires will as well... they can be fixed by driving them up to operating temperature. He used better terminology, but the jist of it was.. the bands heat up and reform to the proper shape.

Take that for what it is.. B.S. talk on a phone call.

Ya, HMMMMmmmmm? Makes me think of the "Automajic Basket Ball Bouncer", to keep your ***** round!
What's that you say? You never heard of one? Give 'em time, it's commin'!
I'm sorry, I don't like gimmiks. Besides, there are more uses for jack stands than just keepin' your tires round. (keeps Jack from fallin' on 'is face)
I don't plan on lettin' the "Starship" to sit long enough to get flat spots anyway.

You want to keep the tires round, by keeping the weight off of them. Cold concrete has nothing to do with it. Any flat surface will cause a flat spot. Carpet may help.....some. Like I said, put it on blocks......and forget it.....prob solved.
I too (unfortunately) will have to store my vette for the winter. Does the owner’s manual show where to put the jack stands? I’m not even sure how to get a jack underneath the front or where to place it. Any help on that? Thanks.
