If you are going to tinker in the winter time its really a must to have a heated garage if possible. I remember when I was a teenager hiring out to a friends dad rebuilding engines in trucks below freezing weather with a flaming steel bucket of diesel, ruined a pair or two insulated coveralls, Finished with installing a cheap timer from amazon to the stock wipers for a delay function, I think it might work. It's wired to work separately from the main wipers by running a timed ground to the wiper motor, from 3 to 30 sec. I will see how this holds up.. here are a few pictures.
Looks good Thomas! I'll be working on my red one tomorrow, I had to move it outside to get some maintenance caught up on my trucks and now I have fuel issues. Seems like my drain was plugged around the fuel filler neck and the cap was underwater for a couple of weeks. Not thrilled about it.
