Default 74 dash

Anyone have an easy way to remove the drivers side instrument dash for restoration. My Haynes manual is vague on some items, like removing the headlight ****. After removing all screws and lowering the column, I'm still unable to reach the speedo and tach cable nuts. The passenger side was a breeze. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi redvette4, There dosen't seem to be an east way to get to the speedo and tech clips, even after you drop the colum there is still not room. With the dash down you'll will have to go by feel. Once you find the speedo or tech cable youstill have to reach around to find the release clips, just reach around and when youfind them squeeze the clips toghter and pull them foward.
As far as the light switch, you'll find a button that will let you pull out the ****, and then yoc can pull out the switch.. Hope this helps. PG
