Does anybody know the exact length and width of a stock 79 Vette? Just bought it and have a 7' x 16' utility trailer. Don't know if it will fit or scrub on the sides going down the road. Traveling from Florida to Colorado to pick it up. Thanks Shawn.

Per the '79 dealer sales brochure, overall length=185.2", overall width=69.0", wheelbase=98", front tread=58.7", rear tread=59.5" and loaded height=48.0". And weight approx. 3,400-3,500 lbs.

Looks like your trailer is big enuf if it'll handle the weight. And it has brakes, and your tow vehicle can handle it. Good luck and drive safe.
