Default Bleeding Brakes

Hey Everyone
I was bleeding the brakes on my newly purchased 68 corvette today and ran across a few things. Granted the car was not used much by the previous owner and the rear brake reservoir was completely empty when I checked it. I did the procedure for bleeding, when I came to the RL inner bleeder nothing would come out. The outer would do alright but not the inner. The FR bled some nasty looking stuff for about 20 seconds and then nothing. I even ran the vacuum up to 40 and couldn't get anymore out. The MC was full so I assumed it's clogged. Would I be out of line if I disconnected the brake lines from the calipers and MC, and just blasted them with air? My manuals will arrive on Tuesday, but was hoping to get the forums opinion on this. Also I have no pedal at all until I pump it, and then I can still push it to the floor.
Thanks in advance

Hey, maybe just your bleeder screws are clogged, remove them from the caliper to inspect the bored passage in the screw & clean out with a small drill bit. If that doesnt work, you have caliper problems & a bad master cylinder. Dont waste time, just replace the master, all calipers & rubber brake lines & drive the car knowing the brakes are safe & will stop!

I have all the calipers working except for the RR. I bought a caliper today, and I'm waiting for a steel caliper line to make it here. Did 3 total system flushes, and the fluid is looking good from all bleeders. I have good pedal on the front calipers and can't wait to get this beast on the road with the top down. Of course it was 105 today, so I'm glad that it's garaged.
