Trying to replace blower motor and fan on my 1980 with A/C. Local purchase the parts and fan is bigger than the old one and hits the duct work before motor bolts up. Ordered one from Ecklers with same result customer service says that’s all they have and it should fit, not much help there! The new fans are metal, original is plastic but can’t be reused. Anyone else had this issue or have a solution. I read one solution is to make a 3/4 inch spacer but would rather find a fan that fits like the original. Thanks in advance

That’s what I thought to but Ecklers assured it’s the right part may need to try another supplier

I just looked on wilcox they say you must use a spacer with their blower must be selling only C4 part
