My 82 vette has power locks. Lately the passenger door **** would not come all the way out to unlock the door when I would press the switch, so I would have to just pull out the **** a hair and the door would open. Tonight I locked it and it won't unlock and I can't pull the **** out manually to unlock it. Any one have any suggestions or experience with this situation?

Mine was doing the same thing a couple weeks ago. The lock post was stuck, and wouldn't move. A good shot of WD40 on the lock mechanism (you should be able to get to it between the door panel and the rear post) fixed mine. Once I had the door opened, I shot it with a parts cleaner aerosol and then some Marvel Mystery Oil to get the grime off and keep it lubed.
