my drivers door will not stay open i have already got a gooseegg on my forehead from the door swinging back and nailing me in the head. does anybody know the name of the part i need to replace thanks

I believe you need to replace the entire upper hinge. It looks like the positional/keeper spring and detentes are all integral to the upper hinge.
