crate engine gm 350/385
has anyone put this engine into their 70-72 vette ? I am wanting to save my original 350/350 and put one of these in. I am hearing there are hood clearance issues and maybe the oil pan.

Oil pans are Vette specific. Hood clearance depends on intake manifold. You should be able to use your oil pan and intake from the original engine. From a 265 to the stroked 383 crate, a small block is a small block.
