Yeh the pushbutton being 68 only is cool, but mine is kinda restomod already with punched out crate LS1/4L60E and some other goodies. Anyone have data on swapping door hardware with later C3??

Welcome to the forum.

While it may be possible, I suspect that it would require replacing a lot of the interior door handle mechanism. Since you have a '72, you could compare and see what's req'd.
