Hey everyone, I'm new here and I've recently purchased a 1976 C3 Stingray. There are several issues I'm currently working on but the one that has me stumped at the moment is the driver side door will not open. I've tried using a long screwdriver to move the latch inside the door to no avail. The door is unlocked and I can see the bars and latches moving when I use both the inside and outside handles. Is there any way to release the door latch without destroying the door panel in the attempt to access the mechanism?

Might take the door panel off the psgr door to see if there's a way to hook a wire on the mechanism to unlatch it.

Of course if they're the original panels, they probably need to be replaced anyway. Mine started cracking after about 15 years.
