electric headlight conversion
I took a change on the Amazon kit after see kits for anywhere from 500 to 750 dollar kits. I paid 160 dollars, installed the kit and it works great. Even if have replace them 2 or 3 years from now, still saving money. I hope you find the right kit for you.
Amazon does have some deals at times. So does Rockauto that sells only original parts. I have not seen a good deals on electric headlight actuators on Ecklers, Corvette cent. or Zip. I think 7 to $800 for actuators is a little steep and I don't have deep pockets for hobbys. I'm sure they are good products and they stand behind them. I have 15in of vacuum with the cam I have so Vacuum headlights are working good. I read an old corvette forum where a guy parked his 79 Vette for 8 years, the headlight doors opened after 8 years without starting the car. So Booya or cheaper parts that work.
Richard454 has the best kits on Ebay. See link below.. He has been providing these for years, and has developed / evolved them over time to the fine pieces they are today.
