1969 wiper/pump wiring
Does anyone have a diagram of a 1969 wiper motor and pump wiring? I found a 1968 Willcox diagram but not sure if that would be the same as a 1969. My main concern is the barell connectors from the pump. How are they wired as mine are missing?
Without looking I say the wiring would be very close. One thing I never liked about the old style pumper wiper motors is that when the washer pump was used it ran a cycle and pumped a lot of washer fluid. The pump can be removed and install a larger washer bottle like a 77 model with the washer pump in the bottom of the bottle and only use as much fluid as needed. You can use the same wires that go to the washer pumper just extend them. Don't know why someone would remove the wires.
Thanks for all the info.
The wires were probably removed because the original headlight solenoid was replaced. The replacement solenoid does not have a connection
for jumper wires from the washer pump.

Attached is a picture of the pump and headlight solenoid. Fellow member of this forum sent me info. on jumper wires from Lectric Limited that
can be used to connect Barell wires from pump to the Headlight washer solenoid. Appreciate all the help from forum members

Good I'm Glad you found a solution. 69 and 70s must have been different, I don't remember that washer pump looking like that.On the 70 When you pushed the washer switch it sprayed the windshield and the headlights both at the same time and used a lot of fluid from a small reservoir tank. I do remember that from a long time ago.
