Default Headlight problem

I have a '79 driver, and the headlights keep getting slower & slower to open... first one side and now both. I would appreciate any help as to where to start (continue)

First, I'd check the vacuume line conections. You may have developed leaks.

Ditto what Starship said, and then spray some WD40 or other penetrating oil around the moving parts. You wouldn't believe the salt and road grime that can build up under there.

Thanks! I've checked multiple vacuum lines, and so far the results seem to indicate that perhaps the seals on the actuators are bad....so I'll try that next. The WD-40 can keep my hoping...while I wait for the seals.
