I just finished taking my entire interior out, I took to guage cluster out, but I forgot to mark, take pictures, or remember what wires go to what guages. Can anyone help me, none of my vette books have the dash wiring charts. I hope someone can help.

OOPS!!! I'll have to look this one up, not sure if I've got it.

 

The shop manuals have the wiring diagrams with color codes in the back. I have an 81 shop manual, but I'm guessing that it wouldn't be a match for a 74. Odds are that the shop manual or factory assembly manual would be your best bet.

Hi Fuzzy 74, That a done deal go to page 409 in the 74 assembly manual. And dont forget to change the blubs before you put it all back together! Or was that why you were in there? Pete.

Hi Fuzzy74, Okay you own a 76, in my 1974 Chevrolet service manual on page 12-32 is just what your looking for- "Rear if instrument clusters" with pictures of where everything goes, hope the 76 is wired the same.PG

 

I think that PG is right. The gauges are basically the same except for a face color change. I believe the wiring is the same also.
