Horn button

79 L82 with tilt and telescope wheel. I need to refinish the paint on the steering column. How does the horn button/cover come off to take off the steering wheel? Does it twist off, pop off?

Hi gigabyte, the button pops off, tell me more about refinishing the paint on the wheel, I have a few chips from where the keys hit the colum are you pulling the colum or just going to use touch up paint?PG
