Default Ignition Shielding.

Doesthe ignition shielding realy work or is it just something else to polish? When I changed my radio I had a lot of noise, after I installed a noise supressor on the alternator the radio worked fine. PG.

I suspect with today's radios, it may not be required because they have more noise immunity. Plus today's plug wires are better than the old carbon and thread ones.

Back in the day they worked fine.
These days you don't need them unless you are going for the original look.
