I am wondering if anyone knows why my vette will fire up sometimes but others it won't. I know it has to be something with the ignition because I replace the router and mess with the button under neath and it will crank (if i'm lucky). Does anyone know what could be the problem. I am at a loss as to what to do besides replacing the ingition system.

what year car? How old are distributor components? if playing with rotor helps,,,, change the parts
