Lowering a Vette?
Hey Shark,
I got my set-up from Ecklers. Didn't find it anyplace else that I looked. I didn't even know about "Vette Brakes". I'll have ta look 'em up and check 'em out.

They carry a lot of suspension and brake parts, either singly or in kits. My catalog is three years old and the price was the same as you paid. Don't know what it'd be today. They were the ones that developed the monoleaf front suspension for sharks. I'm guessing Ekler's got your's from them.
Drop a Fat Rat [sm=gears.gif] in the engine box and you won't have to worry about the springs. But like some one said ...I heard that some camaro springs will work. I'll see if I can find it somewhere. cheers.
Looks like the pic in the Vette Brakes catalog. Thought you said you got it for $749. That's the Vette Brake price for just the front lower A-arms and the monoleaf and hardware. If you got the full meal deal for $749, you got one helluva deal.
The coilovers go for about $525 to $950 depending on whether you get non-adjustable, single, or double adjustable shocks.

Hey 73shark,
The price on the front assembly is 749, the complete system was a little over 2300, which is what I have.
Hey George,
I didn't keep track of hours for the install. It's not really hard per-say, it does take some patience. As mentioned in the ad, no mods required, bolts right in.
I did, replace the complete trailing arm assemblys too. I wanted everything to be new. Rebuilt the diff also. The bolts where the trailing armsmount, were a real b#%@& to get out, at least mine were. A saws-all took care of that.
