luggage rack
I bought a 68-75 6 holeluggage rack to replace the rusted one on my 72 convertible. The four outer holes line up but the 2 center back holes are about an inch forward of the holes in the car. Would anyone know where I can buy the proper rack to fit? Thanks

Welcome to the Corvette Forum. Wished I could help but I'm sure someone here can. I do seem to remember there being a change in the luggage rack mounts sometime in the mid-70s. But I thought it was something like going from four mounts to six.
According to my parts book, the '77 takes a different rack than the early Sharks.

My '72 convertable came with a rack that has (8) mounting locations. It is screwed together like most I have seen.
Heavy duty model?
