Hey guys, im looking to take off my mirrors on my 81 to make it a bit easier to paint. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I notice the 2 nuts on the inside of the door between the glass and the outer edge of the door... But i cant get anything in there to get them lose.. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

 

Might try a 1/4" drive flex extension. Or regular extension with a u-joint on the end.
