Has anyone installed a MSD igniton box in there C3. Doesn't look I will be able to fit it under the hood.
I am sure someone out there has found an ideal remote location in their VET to put one.

 

I've seen a couple mounted to the firewall on the right (passenger) side of the distributor. One more thing that I want to upgrade one of these days.

Mine is getting an AC system from hotrod air in a week or so, which will get rid of the "outside" part of the heater/AC/blower boxes. I should have plenty of room on the passenger side then for adding nifty electronics.

hi schoon, i installed electronic ignition in my '71 small block.only mod i made and i luv it.used a Pertronix unit,installs in original distributor,looks stock except for 2 wires instead of the single one.install took about 30 mins.and it fired up instantly.no adjustments other than gap when installing.can't say about durability,have only put 2k or so on car since finishing it..costs less than 90.$ good luck johnc

 

i like to install all my MSD STUFF in the car. it keep's them cool and dry.... enging heat does a number on the unit's

 

I haad the MSD electronic inserted inside the stock distgributor works great
