I dont know where to start. I took my car out today after sitting in the garage for months and my driver's side window will not go down! It has had intermittent problems in the past, but now it is just stuck in the up position.

Can someone share advice or direct me to where I can find advice on how to diagnose? I would not have minded so much if it were the passanger side, but the driver's..!!! I dont want to miss all this fine weather!!!

Just recovered from exactly the same problem only on the other side. New switches were my solution. I lifted the console,unplugged the switch and used a jumper to put power to the motor,window worked! If direct power doesn't make the window work then it's probably the motor. You can buy a lot of switches for the price of one motor! Good Luck!
