Default rear ride height question

I have a 1982 corvette and I just bought my son a 1981 corvette. I noticed that his car sites a little lower in the rear than mine and when I got under his car to take a look it appears that his rear leaf spring is sitting up against the rear end housing with spacers on the bottom of the spring. Mine has the spacers on top of the spring against the rear end housing. I would like to lower mine like his car but I wanted to ask if anyone knew if I could just flip those spacers looking devices around like his or do I have to do it using some other method. my car sits 1" higher than his in the rear.

Thanks.

Default RE: rear ride height question

Hi rick56 and welcome to the forum. The rear end can be lowered by using longer bolts, maybe someone will post a 81 & 82 AIM page so you can see whats been done by the PO.
Happy Holidays, PG.
