Default some help please

Hey everyone been awhile since I posted. Hope everyone is doing good. Well I gave my vette to my dad in TN. He lost it when him and my mom broke up. So 20 years later I get it from my mom and i repainted and did some motor work and gave it to him. Well long story short he calls me yesterday and tells me there some kinda of grinding noise coming from the driver side rear. anyone know what this could be? I put new bushing in the spring. Or if anyone know of any good vette people in west TN that could look or fix the car would be great (of course not for free)My dad has MS so can not really work on the car.
Any help would be great .
Thanks jay

Could be a number of things: rear wheel bearing, emergency brake hanging up,pads gone on the brakes, side bearing in the diff to mention a few. Can't help with the mech, haven't been to Tenn in years! Good Luck!

Hi,
I have a 74 and 2 years ago I had a gringing noise coming from the driver side rear.
Thought it was going to be something real bad.
Turned out one of the springs on the emergency brake came off and fell into the rear brake calipper causing the grinding noise.
Easy to fix noise but I did need to replace the emergency brake assembly.
