Default Started stripping the vet

Started stripping the vet this weekend, what a job.
Only had two coats of paint but what a job.
Paint shop wanted 3k to strip it and know I see why.
I hope to be done in a few weeks and then it will get a new all black paint job with clear coat.
Will post pictures.

I am using Captain Lee's fiberglass stripper.
It takes off two coats in no time.
The work is cleaning up all the little spots and the factory primer.
Messy job and can't be done in the sun.
You need to wash off stripped area with water to neutralize the stuff when you finish an area.
If you are thinking about doing it let me know and I will give you a heads up on where to get it and what tools you will need.

I used something similar when I did mine. But mine was formulated to stop at the factory primer so I didn't have to worry about getting into the gelcoat and 'glass.

Most seem to use glass beads or baking soda blasting now or just DA sanders.

Are you painting yourself?

My buddy is going to paint for me.
He restores cars for a living.

This will be an average cost paint job because this is my driver.
