Default switching from mechanical fuel pump to electric would like some assistance

My fuel pump went out on saturday. So i went an picked up a new one but opted to go with the holly red electric pump instead of an aftermarket mechanical one. What im having a little bit of a problem with is where to mount the pump. Im thinking about possible mounting it on that rear crossmember behind the fuel tank. Has anyone else done this and where did u mount yours? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Firewall or inner fender are good places. Easy to work on and change.

Suggest checking w/ Holley to see if that pump is better at pushing fuel or sucking. That'll tell you which end of car to put it.

Always mount as close as possibleto tank w/ big filter between the tank and pump for protection. Mount pressure regulator under hood for accessability and hook in return for cooler fuel. I've done many.
