t350 cross member
i have installed a turbo 350 in my 73 coupe looking i should be able to move the cross member forward and re drill and tap the mounting holes,have any of you done this? am i on the right track here?

maybe i should clarifiy,my car came with a 400 in it,when i put the 350 in it the cross member was about 6" back from the mount on the t350
it looks like moving the cross member is easy i just need to know if the mount will work or do they make a mount that will work

Ya got me on this one!?!?!
I have seen instances where you can flip the crossmember, end to end, and pick up a few inches, but 6? All I can say is try it. I'm leary 'bout drillin' holes.

i don't prefer the 350 i just got a great deal on a b&m 350 , the problem is fixed ,i moved the cross member forward and drilled and tapped
new holes .the i drilled a single hole for the mount and it works perfect[&:]
