Hi all. My odometer crapped out (both the trip and main). I picked up another speedo with (supposedly working) odometers but I want to test the odometers before I do the swap. I picked up a second one to limit the down time of my car by doing a quick swap instead of an uninstall, repair and reinstall. Is there a simple way to test the odometers by connecting a drill or something to the rear of the gauge? Thanks!

 

A short section of cable or most anything you can chuck up in the drill,I think it turns backward?
