Is there a differerance between an automatic and a manual crossmember? I am converting a 75 auto to a 4 speed and seem to be have clearance issues with the shifter and the parking brake pully mount. I have not ruled out that a previous owner moved the mount.

Look at the thread (transmission question) started by sweetness 224, they are talking all about that and the same thing you are doing. Way above my head but those guys know what they are talking about.
