how do i decode the vin no. To find out what i've got in my '80 vette?

My Corvette Black book says: 5th digit varies as follows:8=350ci,190hp H=305ci,180hp, 6=350ci,230hp. Suffix: ZAK 350ci,190hp at;ZAM 350ci,190hp mt;ZBC 350ci,230hp at;ZBD 350ci,230 hp uu(uncertain usage);305ci,180hp at ce(California emissions).Ending vehicle number=sep79 400011.oct 79,40267.nov 79,408343. dec79,411652.jan80,416198.feb 80,420057.mar80,424380.apr 80,427800.may 80,431152.jun 80,434509.jul 80,438049.aug 80,440614.
So now you should know your engine hp rating,transmission and what month it was made.There;s a website somewhere where you plug in your serial number and it'll tell you on which day it was made.
