RE: Won't start!
This should be easy, not too many possibilities here. Neutral safety switch under the console next to the shifter, ignition switch at the bottom end of the steering column before it goes through the firewall, starter solenoid, starter motor, and the wires that run between these components. You will also find one or two fusible links near the starter that are intregal to the wire harness, these look like rubber bulges in the wire about 3/4 X 1/4 inch, they melt internally if overloaded. I would start by checking for 12 volts at the solenoid while a helper turns the key, you can also jump 12 volts to the S terminal while your under there and the thing should crank.

I had a very similar problem and it turned out to be the neg bat cable where it bolted to the frame.
The connection was tight and clean "But" after looking real close at the cable there was a spot where the plastic wore off do to age or road splater.
I replaced the cable for a few bucks and good to go.
Good kuck!
