my dad's 1984 c4, creaks when rear wheels are rocked back and forward, in park.. time to change??

also is the L-83 crossfire overall a good engine? anything i should tell my old man?? thx

 

tell him to jack up the rear end, put the transmission in neutral, and rotate the drive shaft by hand and see if he can see movements in the u-joints. I would bet that if he has any u-joints going bad, it would be in the halfshafts.

yea i would say the L-83 is a good engine, just as reliable as the L98. Now which one is better? that probably is just as debatable as the L98 vs. LT1 fight.
