Ya man
there running way too hot. Start checking after the manifolds, for blockages, or your running way to lean. How's it runnning?
I would suspect not real good.

Check your timing and your distributor, coil, rotor button, plugs and wires....Rough idle? Any more symptoms?

Are your manifolds stainless? If they are, they will glow under high throttle. They are supposed to have heat shields on them. [8D]
