So I have a 1986 vette and I wanna get a nice set of rims for it. Does any1 know a good website that I can browse on? And Is it true that I have to get adapters for that year of Vette?

 

Your choices for new wheels will be very limited if you don't use adapters. TireRack has always been a favorite of many Corvette owners.

 

go to www.mamotorworks.com Triple Chrome Plated 5 spoke Z-R1 Rims......I have and love them very nice.

 

My uncle had put 17in Antera 3 spoke rims (very, very, shiny) and it is BEAUTIFUL!! I dont think ill ever be able to find any but the three spoke chrome approach is HOT!!

 

Hi!! If you decide to go with a factory 17 Corvette wheel like my Grand Sports,you will need spacers for them.Other than that,they will fit very nicely.Good luck in your search.

 

Depending on what rims you get, you may or may not have to get spacers. The ZR-1 rims for instance require no spacers on the 86. Check out AMS wheels on ebay, or tomz wheels. ecklers and madvette.com have some wheels too.
