Default 1995 Vette Base - Replaced fuel pump and now no power to it

The old pump worked, but needed replaced, so I upgraded. When reinstalled the pump is getting no power. We traced the problem back to the slot in the fuse block that powers the pump (FP1) is not getting any power. I bought a new relay and installed that, but it didnt make a difference. What am I missing?

I would check the larger main fuses also. There could be a possibility there is a bad wire or connection on the back side of the fuse holder. Weird things happen sometimes

Heres where Im at with diagnosis and testing. When I turn the key to accessory, the fuel pump relay switches on, and I replaced the fuse in FP1 for ****s n giggles, but still no power to it with the accessories on. Someone near me tooled around on google for a while and came up with something about a fuel pump shut off switch behind the seats that needs to be reset. I cant find this switch as one side is all stereo components, and I honestly dont know whats behind the drivers seat, as I just dont know what it is, but I have full access to it if needed. Any further ideas?

When the ing. is turned it only powers the fuel pump for about 3 seconds and turns off, just long enough to build fuel pressure. Do you have fuel pressure? You can jumper wire to the fuel pump to make sure the pump and wiring is working and correct.

Does your check engine light come on when the key is in the on position?

Another thing you can check is the fuel pump relay at pin D which is has a orange wire going to it should have battery power, pin C should have constant ground, pin A is a green/white wire that should have power in start position and gets power from pin A1, if pump gets power the next step is checking power grounds at ECM. This should give you things to check.

I had to send it off to a Corvette specialist and he replaced the cable that runs from the back of the interior fuse box back to the pump and it is working now.
