84 clunking noise
I am new to the forum and have a 1984 with 19,000 mi on, super clean and runs great with the exception of a clunking noise that comes and goes when i decelerate from 35mph to 10. sounds like a lug nut inside a hub cap and follows the rotation of the wheel as you slow down, some times loud and other times not. I have taken it to two shops and of course they can't replicate the problem. u joints are all good and I have changed the diff fluid also and even changed the rear wheel bearings.any help would be greatly appreciated
I did add the chev Posi-Trac additive when I changed the fluid to no avail thank you for your time am thinking it is the cat and will take that on next
