Drivers side hood latch won't open!! Eeek! Anybody have the answer? Love this machine!

 

Hey i had this problem with my 87 and i took it to the body shop. the cable has streched to much and now it wont open the way they fixed it was.umm some how they took off the tire and then took out part of the weel well. umm and i guess he took he latch off from under there. i think im mid america motor works they have some thing that will pop the latch with out having o go through all that work. i dont know enough about it but its not an easy job.

 

look under the plastic release handle, where the cable locks in, sort of like thehand brake cable on a bmx bike, it might have just popped out, its worth a look
