92 LT1 Water pump drive oil seal

Default 92 LT1 Water pump drive oil seal
Whoops, forgot to mention that I have a 92 LT1. I pulled out the Nationaloil seal that fits in the timing cover for the drive to the water pump but when I replaced it with a GM seal, it seems way too tight. Has anyone delt with this before? Any suggestions?
