Thoroughly researched the correct FOB for my 94. Ran through a test on programming mode on system. Searched Amazon and Corvette suppliers all have the same narrative….OUT OF STOCK. Found one on eBay, $450. I can put in a new Viper Security for that. Any guidance? What have you done?

 

I always hate it when I can't find something. I would check around some of the better Lock and Key shops they might have one in stock or know where to get one sometimes. chevy dealer maybe, Pricey usually.

 

Contacted a car security installer and got a deal to replace system with a new system hundreds cheaper than the cost of one FOB. Additionally the new system opens up a new avenue of replacement parts. I think it is a plan. Thanks for your help.

 

That's good to know with a lot of old fobs needing replacements.

 

Finally!! Installer put in this unit. Works great. Has contact, door, hood and back glass alarm. Works all three, doors and back glass. Lock and unlock. Great install here in Cadillac.
