Default Ac/heat not working

86 vette. Got new climbate cnotrol and replaced the AC relay....Still the Climbate control dont work. It is not getting power to the BOX....It just dies somewhere along the line...WHY WHERE HOW DO I FIX IT IM FREEZING MY *** OFF.......Why wont it work. I am probably going to take it to a shop and see if they can find the short but that could take a week or more and cost major $$$ which Id rather spend elsewhere WHEN I HAVE IT to actuually spend. Help....Oh yea checked the fuse too and they are ALL good.....

Hello,my friend!Have you considered maybe your blower may not be working?Just tonight,as I write to you,my blower on my '96 stopped working.I had no fuses that I could find related to it(blower) and everything was still operational(A/C,defrost,defogger,etc.).So,I turned the car on and turned the heater, and after that, went to my fan blower and tapped it with a wrench, and what do you know?It started! I know now I need a new blower, but after 10 years it's not so bad, huh?Give that a shot, you just never know.Let me know what happens, will ya? Your friend, Joe. PS; You do have an '86.Just maybe your blower is about done!

Checked the blower by hooking it up to my dads jeep battery and it runs perfect. Somewhere the power is being stopped.....Before it gets to the climbate control box. Nothing on that box lights up. Also whenever I hit a bump my digidash goes dark or goes haywire......I believe there is al oose wire somewhere in the car. Also my interior and exterior lights flicker when they are turned on and/or during normal driving......I wonder where that short could be......
