Default Another newbee question

Before I start, I would like to thank everyone for all the help with my questions. You guys have answered alot of simple questions. Well I have done some exhaust work, I have had all three mufflers taken off, left the cat converters. In north Carolina a car can pass inspection, just so the exhaust system has no holes? go figure. Well I have also put a K&N airfilter on also, my estimated miles per gallon is showing 25-26 miles per gallon, running 58mph. Is this accurate?

Thanks.
Dale

Sorry, when I wrote simple questions, I mean the questions are simple and you all have heard them over and over, but they are not simple to me.
Thanks

It seems pretty decent to me. For a while my average was 14.2. Guess what: I cleaned the throttle body and reset the linkage on it. My average jumped to 17.8 in two days. My instant @ 60mph is about 28-30 mpg. Before I cleaned the throttle body out it was only 17-18mpg @ 60 mph. Just think how good it would be with the intake runners cleaned and new plugs and plug wires and a new distributor. See what I'm getting at? Keep that vette clean and it should get pretty decent gas mileage.-zr1clone
