Well, lets look at a few things on the knock. How many miles? What grade of oil? How cold is it in the morning? The knock you hear is rod bearing wear and until oil pressure reaches the bearings, with age, you will get a little knock. You might try a lighter grade of oil for winter where it will reach pressure quicker. Also check and make sure you have the proper filter with check valve built into it to help maintainoil in filter after shutoff.[8D]

Lucas is some really good stuff! At the shop I used to work at we always put that in cars with over 120,000 miles. I highly recomend you get it warm before trying to put it in. Motor Honey is also very good (and you think Lucas is thick!)
