bearing, rotor, noise update

bearing, rotor, noise update
I think I will post this in GENERAL TECH also. I just wanted to add on to my questions about the previous posts I have made about my problem.
Today I noticed that my "tapping" or "knocking" sound has added a new friend to the club. Now my left front wheel has an intermittent "squeak" or even a "chirp" to go with the tapping. It seems to "squeak" when turning left at slow speeds; like 5-10 mph.
Also the"tapping" or "knocking" sound seems to only happen after moderate breaking. The "tapping soundusually stops afterI pick up speed again. Note: the"tapping" always stops while the brake is applied. It starts when I left off the brakes. The length of time between "taps" getslonger at slow speed and gets shorter at higher speeds. (hope that make sense)
I have brand new brake pads; thought it was break chatter. I guess I am hoping that someone can diagnose this better now that I have a little more description. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Kevin-zr1clone[sm=helpout.gif]

RE: bearing, rotor, noise update
Does the brake pads you installed have the anti-rattle clips with them? Did you machine the rotors when installing the brake pads? The rotors make look good, but they need to be machined finished to break the glaze from the previous set of pads. That may be where your squeak is from.

RE: bearing, rotor, noise update
Thanks Mech, you too, PG. I am scheduled to have my fuel filter changed tomorrow @9:00AM. Hope this will line me up to solve my loos of power situation. Next, plugs and wires and check resistance on injectors. I will go to a local break shop to see what the say about the rotors. Thanks, guys. I'll get back with ya tomorrow.----Kevin-zr1clone
