Default Change oil light

I just changed my oil and the light on the dash is still on. I have 94model and I didn't know if there was a way I could reset it myself or do I need to take it in to the dealer. Any information would be helpfull and thanks in advance if you can help.

Hello,my friend.I hope you still have your owner's manual because it will show you how to reset it.I believe it's under the Oil Life Monitor in the index. It's very simple to do.Just follow the few steps and you're good to go.Hope this helps!! Joe.

I got my oil change at one time, the my light went on 2 weeks later. I reset it, but question how and when the light goes on. The dealer states after so many revolutions of the motor, the light goes on. That must mean that when I get an oil change, I need to reset the light, I guess.

The light is on a mileage counter. When you reset it, it resets the counter. [8D]
